The traffic wardens in Bolton are particularly fierce and will pounce with no notice... don't fall foul of them!
The town centre traffic wardens work throughout the evening, so don't make the mistake of thinking they will over look you if you're not parked properly.
There are a number of places around the town centre within walking distance of Bolton Library and Museum, there are also a number of pay-per-stay car parks very close by.
After 6.30pm parking around the Library and Museum around Le Mans Crescent is FREE but parking is LIMITED.
Be careful not to park outside of designated parking spots, don't park in designated Loading Bays, and only park in designated Disabled Bays if you have a valid disabled badge to display.
While work at the museum is happening, entrance to Queen Street Car Park will be through the arches on Le Mans Crescent.
A short walk from Bolton Library and Museum is Bolton Shopping Centre retail park on Trinity Way.
Parking here is FREE (for shoppers) for a maximum of 3 hours, which should cover our meeting with no problem at all.
Be sure not to overstay the 3 hours though as it is operated by an automated camera system.
The Octagon Theatre NCP Car Park is directly opposite the Library and Museum and is the nearest pay-per-stay car park to the venue.
Parking here is £3.10 for 3 hours, which should cover our meeting with no problem at all.
If you want to find out more about this car park visit the NCP website by clicking here.
